All primary and high schools in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region are invited to take part in a Schools Sustainability Showcase, as part of the Hastings Sustainability Showcase, March 1st & 2nd. This is an opportunity for student representatives to learn, share and collaborate with students from other schools about sustainability within their schools, and how to educate and inspire students to live sustainably.
When:
- High Schools Sustainability Showcase Friday 1st March 2019, 12.00-1.00pm
- Primary Schools Sustainability Showcase Friday 1st March 2019, 1.00-3.00pm
Who: Up to four sustainability student representatives and accompanying parents or teachers
What: School groups will give a 3-5 minute presentation about sustainability at your school (PowerPoint slides optional), followed by a school sustainability workshop facilitated by local sustainability educators and professionals. If students from a school do not want to present, they are welcome to attend, participate & be inspired without giving a presentation.
